This Sweepstakes/contest is being conducted by Taste of the Danforth and the GreekTown on the
Danforth BIA, with prizes provided by G Adventures and Travel Design by Leila, hereinafter collectively
referred to as “Sponsors”.

This Sweepstakes/contest runs from August 7th, 2026 until Monday August 31st, 2026 at 1:00 pm, the
Sweepstakes/contest “Window”. Participants must answer a number of survey questions and provide their name, email address, and other information. Any entry by the participant constitutes consent to participate in this Contest and agreement with these Rules. All entries will be the property of the Sponsors. By completing the survey and entering this contest, you are expressly providing permission for both Taste of the Danforth/GreekTown on the Danforth BIA, G Adventures, and Travel Design by Leila to contact you in the future, in accordance with the Privacy and Use of Information section below.
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. As a free alternate method of entry, eligible individuals may
enter without completing the online survey by mailing their full name, mailing address, email address,
and telephone number on a postcard to: GreekTown on the Danforth BIA, 452A Danforth Avenue,
Toronto, ON, M4K 1P4, postmarked within the Sweepstakes/contest Window. Mail-in entries will be
given equal consideration to online entries and are subject to the same eligibility requirements and
one-entry-per-person limit.
The Sponsors are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or otherwise misdirected entries that are
processed late or incorrectly or are lost due to computer or electronic malfunction or other error. Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries will result in disqualification.
2. Eligibility
APPLICABLE LOCAL, PROVINCIAL, FEDERAL, AND INTERNATIONAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
SWEEPSTAKES/CONTEST IS NOT AVAILABLE TO RESIDENTS OF QUEBEC.
Sweepstakes/contest is open to any living persons in Canada, excluding residents of the Province of Quebec, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. By entering into this Sweepstakes/contest, the participant shall be deemed to have read and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions, and by the decisions of the Sponsors and their affiliated entities, which shall be final and binding in all respects.
In order to claim the prize and be declared a winner, the selected entrant will be required to complete and sign a declaration and release statement in order to: confirm compliance with the rules and regulations; accept the prize as awarded, without substitution; and release the Sponsors and their affiliated companies from any liability, as described more fully below. The selected entrant will also be required to correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question, administered by email or telephone at a pre-arranged, mutually convenient time, as a condition of receiving the prize. Failure by any selected entrant to complete, sign, and return any of the aforementioned documents within 14 business days after notification is sent to the email address on the selected entrant’s entry, or failure to return the prize documents, may result in forfeiture of the prize.
At the sole discretion of the Sponsors, an alternate winner may be selected or the prize award may be cancelled. If a selected entrant cannot be contacted in a timely fashion, or if for any other reason the prize cannot be awarded, another Sweepstakes/contest entry may be randomly selected by draw until the prize has been awarded. Failure to correctly answer the skill-testing question will result in disqualification, the forfeiture of his or her interest in the prize, and, at the sole discretion of the Sponsors, the random selection of a substitute winner from among all remaining eligible entries.
3. Disclaimers
The Sponsors and their subsidiaries and affiliated entities are not responsible or liable for entries that are entered by other than human means (such as by an automated computer program or any non-human mechanism, entity, or device), in excess of the stated limit, or for entries that are illegible, late, destroyed, lost, misplaced, stolen, misdirected, tampered with, deleted, damaged, incomplete, or otherwise not in compliance with these official rules, and all such entries will be disqualified.
By participating in the Sweepstakes/contest, each registrant/entrant agrees and acknowledges: to be bound by these official rules, all Sponsor-related terms and conditions, as well as the decisions of the Sponsors, which are final and binding in all respects; to waive any rights to claim ambiguity with the official rules; and that the Sponsors and their affiliated entities shall have no responsibility or liability (including, but not limited to, liability for any property loss, damage, personal injury, or death) in connection with: participation in the Sweepstakes/contest; acceptance/possession (including, but not limited to, delays by shipping companies), defects, and/or use/misuse of a prize (including, but not limited to, cancellation/postponement); discontinued prizes; human error; incorrect or inaccurate transcription of registration and/or account information; any technical malfunctions of the telephone network, computer online system, computer dating mechanism, computer equipment, software, or internet service provider utilized by the Sponsors; interruption or inability to access the Sponsors, their affiliated entities, and their respective websites, or any online service via the internet due to hardware or software compatibility problems; any damage to a participant’s (or any third person’s) computer and/or its contents related to or resulting from any part of the Sweepstakes/contest; any lost/delayed data transmissions, omissions, interruptions, defects; and/or any other errors or malfunctions, even if caused by the negligence of the Sponsors or any of their affiliated entities.
Each participant further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsors and their subsidiaries and affiliated entities from and against any and all liability resulting or arising from the Sweepstakes/contest and to release all rights to bring any claim, action, or proceeding against the Sponsors or their affiliated entities, and hereby acknowledges that the Sponsors and their subsidiaries and affiliated entities have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to a prize, including express warranties provided exclusively by a prize supplier that may be sent along with a prize.
The Sponsors and/or their subsidiaries and affiliated entities shall in no event be liable for any injury, damage, loss, expense, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity that may be caused or contributed to (1) by any wrongful, negligent, or unauthorized act or omission on the part of any of the prize suppliers or any of their agents, servants, employees, or independent contractors, (2) by any wrongful, negligent, or unauthorized act or omission on the part of any other person or entity not an employee of the Sponsors, or (3) by any other cause, condition, or event whatsoever beyond the control of the Sponsors or their parents, subsidiaries, and affiliated companies. The title of this Sweepstakes/contest may change during the Sweepstakes/contest.
ANY ATTEMPT BY A PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES/CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND, SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK ALL LEGAL AND EQUITABLE REMEDIES FROM AND AGAINST ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Additionally, any attempt to cheat the Sweepstakes/contest, as determined at the sole discretion of the Sponsors, may result in immediate disqualification of the entrant, as well as other possible consequences, including disqualification from any and all existing and future offers. Any attempt to cheat by creating fake profiles will be looked upon very seriously and can result in immediate and permanent ban, and possible further action. Irrelevant entries, as deemed irrelevant at the sole discretion of the Sponsors, and those using copyrighted content, may be removed and disqualified from the Sweepstakes/contest. In the event of a dispute, entries made by Internet will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the username submitted at the time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address entered into the Sponsors’ system. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes/contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, unavailable funds, pandemic, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsors, then the Sponsors reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, extend, or suspend the Sweepstakes/contest.
4. Prizes; odds; selection of winners
One winner will be selected to win one (1) voucher for two (2) spots on Highlights of Mainland Greece (EGAA – no substitutions), departing prior to July 31, 2027 and must be booked by September 30, 2026, provided that a minimum of six (6) paying passengers are confirmed on such departure. Valid for new bookings only and must quote promo code at time of booking. Prize includes the listed itinerary only and excludes optional or additional services not expressly included in the applicable itinerary or prize, including transfers, pre/post-tour accommodation, ‘My Own Room’, insurance, amendments, vaccinations, and all incidentals, meals, gratuities, taxes, fees, levies and transportation. All travel related expenses including but not limited to transportation to and from home, taxes, gratuities, incidentals, upgrades, insurance, service charges, airport surcharges, departure taxes, hotel, resort or property fees, food & beverage and excursions not specifically included in the applicable trip itinerary and personal expenses including but not limited to telephone/Internet charges and gift shop purchases are the sole responsibility of prize winner. Prize must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable, assignable, or convertible to cash (except as may be specifically permitted by G Adventures in its sole and absolute discretion). In addition, the Prize may be substituted for an alternative G Adventures tour provided that such alternative tour shall have a retail value equal to or lesser than that of the Prize. Should such alternative trip have a lesser retail value than that of the Prize, the Prize winner shall not receive any funds of whatever nature whatsoever in any form equaling the difference between the Prize and the alternative
trip. G Adventures reserves the right to refuse providing an alternative trip in substitution of the Prize at its sole discretion.
In addition to the above one winner will receive air transportation for two (2) from Toronto. Air is subject to availability and choice of carrier will be at the discretion of the GreekTown on the Danforth BIA and may not be available even if air is available on a brand-specific website or through another travel partner.
Prize is non-transferrable, holds no cash value, and cannot be substituted or extended, except at the Sponsors’ sole discretion in the event of prize unavailability.
Both winner and guest(s) must travel together on the same itinerary. Prize winner(s) and guest must be at least 18 years of age.
Each prize winner and his/her traveling companion are solely responsible for all costs not expressly described herein, including, without limitation, in-flight meals, beverages, headsets, in-flight entertainment, optional seat selection, additional checked-in luggage surcharges, ground transportation, gratuities, optional excursions, merchandise, telephone calls, room charges incurred, spa treatments, incidentals, and travel and medical insurance, together with any required travel documentation.
Flight dates are subject to change without notice or compensation. The Prize Winner and his/her traveling companion are also solely responsible for all costs incurred to and from the Departure point, as the Prize originates and terminates there. It is the sole responsibility of the Prize Winner and his/her traveling companion to obtain all necessary travel documentation, including passports.
Sponsors accept no responsibility for the selection, availability, suitability, timeliness, adequacy, or results of any Services and makes no representation or warranty of any kind or nature whatsoever, express or implied, with respect to any such Service, including, without limitation, any warranty as to merchantability or fitness for purpose. Once travel, accommodation, or other Service details have been confirmed with Sponsors, all applicable carrier, hotel/accommodation, and/or other Service provider terms and conditions apply, including, without limitation, charges or penalties for changes or cancellation, which charges and/or penalties, if any, shall be the sole responsibility of the recipient.
THE TOTAL VALUE OF THE PRIZE VARIES DEPENDING ON DEPARTURE DATES, BUT IS ESTIMATED AT APPROXIMATELY $11,000 FOR TWO.
Your odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. For example, if 1,000 eligible entries were received, your odds of winning would be 1:1,000. The Sponsors cannot accurately estimate how many eligible entries will be received during the Sweepstakes/contest window. Following the end of the Sweepstakes/contest window, the Sponsors shall schedule the prize selection at their own discretion and within the time period allowed by law.
ALL INTERNATIONAL, FEDERAL, PROVINCIAL, AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF THE PRIZE ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER.
All costs and expenses not specified herein are the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitutions, except at the Sponsors’ sole discretion, in the event of prize unavailability. The prize is not transferable, has no cash value for the winner, and its duration cannot be extended, except at the Sponsors’ discretion. Unused travel services are not exchangeable for alternate arrangements.
Entry constitutes permission to post the winner’s name on the Sponsors’ websites and to use the winner’s name and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Entry also constitutes agreement to provide a photo of the winner, which will be posted on the Sponsors’ websites.
In the event a prize winner is unable to redeem the prize as awarded, the Sponsors or any parties associated with this prize will provide neither compensation nor substitutions. The prize winner must return a signed copy of the congratulations letter within 14 days of its receipt to confirm their understanding of the conditions stipulated above.
5. Privacy and use of personal information
The Sponsors are committed to protecting the privacy of entrants’ personal information in accordance with the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and any applicable provincial privacy legislation.
Personal information collected as part of this Sweepstakes/contest (including name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, and survey responses) will be used only for the following purposes: (a) administering the Sweepstakes/contest, including verifying eligibility, contacting entrants, and awarding the prize; (b) where the entrant has expressly consented, sending information about the Sponsors’ products, events, and special promotions; and (c) internal record-keeping and analysis related to the Sweepstakes/contest.
Personal information will not be sold or otherwise disclosed to third parties, except: (i) as necessary for the administration of the Sweepstakes/contest (for example, to a Sponsor fulfilling the prize); (ii) as required by law or legal process; or (iii) with the entrant’s additional consent.
Entrants may withdraw consent to receive future marketing communications from the Sponsors at any time by using the unsubscribe mechanism provided in such communications, or by contacting the GreekTown on the Danforth BIA at 416-469-5634 or at 452A Danforth Avenue, Toronto, ON, M4K 1P4. Withdrawing consent to marketing communications will not affect an entrant’s participation in, or eligibility to win, the Sweepstakes/contest.
Personal information will be retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above and to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, after which it will be securely destroyed or anonymized. Entrants may request access to, or correction of, their personal information held by the Sponsors by contacting the GreekTown on the Danforth BIA using the contact information above. 6. Applicable law
The Sweepstakes/contest and these official rules shall be construed and governed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
